Vegan Ermine Frosting

Vegan Ermine Frosting


  • Granulated sugar: 1 cup.
  • Vegetable shortening: 1/2 cup.
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp.
  • All-purpose flour: 1/4 cup.
  • Vegan butter: 1/2 cup.
  • Non-dairy milk: 1 cup.


  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together the flour and plant milk; heat to a simmer over a low flame.
  2. Cook for almost 4 minutes, then mix it with a good texture.
  3. After one minute in the saucepan, take it out and place it in a bowl.
  4. Wrap the pudding perfectly, and then check the wrap with your finger.
  5. As a result, skin cannot develop.
  6. Once it gets to room temperature as well, place it in the cold area for a few moments.
  7. When the sweetener is finely textured, add it to the food processor or blender and pulse for about twenty seconds.
  8. Add the oil-free margarine and vegan butter to a stand mixer that has a paddle blade attached.

  11. Mix it in the sugar and then mash it at normal sped.

  14. One large spoonful of the cooled dessert at a time (four or five additions), beating to integrate after each addition.
  15. After adding all the pudding, increase the beaters to high and beat for five minutes, till the mixture is light and fluffy.

  17. For an exceptionally smooth frosting, stand and put it together.
  18. Set the speed to low, and let the mixer run for one to two minutes.
