Tips for making this recipe:

Your dairy-free milk will be creamier the greater the fat content.
If coffee isn’t enough for you, try two or three shots of espresso instead.
When you’re ready to drink, make the caramel sauce and whipped cream ahead of time to save time.

Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin purée: 1/4 cup.
  • Coffee: 1 cup.
  • Pumpkin pie spice: 1/2 tsp.
  • Maple syrup: 1/4 cup.
  • Pumpkin pie spice: 1/2 tsp.
  • Salt.
  • Coconut cream: 1/4 cup.

Optional:

  • Pumpkin caramel sauce.
  • Vanilla extract: 1/2 tsp.

Instructions:

  • In a saucepan on the normal heat.
  • Combine all the essential ingredients and whisk thoroughly (include vanilla as well, if using).
  • Simmer and then mix it with the boiling water.
  • Mix it for almost 3 to 4 moments.
  • An alternative would be to mix all ingredients on high till thoroughly cooked.
  • Transfer into cups that can withstand heat.
  • Top with pumpkin caramel and whipped cream, if desired (which you should).

Noted:

Any dairy-free milk will do in this recipe. It will be creamier the more fat there is in it.
You may substitute 2-3 shots of strong espresso for the coffee.
Both coconut cream and creamer were excellent substitutes for creamer when preparing this.

Storage information:

For up to three days, store it sealed in the freezer. Just be sure to thoroughly mix it; otherwise, the purée and spices might settle and give it a gritty texture.
