INGREDIENTS:

  • Passion Fruit Cream
  • 1 cup canned coconut cream
  • 1 cup fresh passion fruit pulp
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Chocolate Ganache
  • 1 cup vegan dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

INGREDIENT NOTES:

COCONUT CREAM:

  • We use whole milk cream to prepare this dessert. Full-fat cream provides a thick and soft texture. It can help to set the dessert in the fridge.

PASSION FRUIT PULP:

  • Make the passion fruit pulp fresh or use the canned version. It helps to add a strong taste to dessert. Use the unsweetened puree, so we can adjust the sweet taste as we want to.

MAPLE SYRUP:

  • It adds a slight sweet taste to the dessert. It blends smoothly with the layers. Add the maple syrup according to your sweet taste.

CORNSTARCH:

  • Add the cornstarch to the dessert to thicken its consistency. Add while cooking this dessert to activate it.

DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS:

  • They don’t contain dairy in them in order to make the vegan dessert. They melt quickly and provide the smooth consistency of ganache.

COCONUT MILK:

  • Use it to prepare the ganache. It makes the silky ganache. Don’t use the refrigerated box of coconut milk because it is too light.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Include the vanilla, passion fruit pulp, maple syrup, salt, coconut cream, & cornstarch in the pan.
  2. Whisk all the ingredients to prevent the formation.
  3. Cook on a low flame by mixing them continuously for 5-6 minutes till the mixture thickens.
  4. Now take away the mixture from stove & cool for some time.
  5. Blend the mixture to make it smoother.
  6. Add the mixture equally to the serving glasses
  7. Put the glasses in fridge for 30 minutes.
  8. We warm the coconut milk in pan in meantime.
  9. Add the chocolate chips to the dish.
  10. Include the warm milk in the chocolate chips.
  11. Leave for 2 minutes, then mix to make the smooth and shiny glaze.
  12. Include the maple syrup and stir again.
  13. Add chocolate ganache to the passion fruit layer and chill for more than one hour.
  14. Serve the dessert.
