Substitutes

Strawberries: You can use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones.
Organic Cane Sugar: Try this drink with date syrup, coconut sugar, Medjool dates, or maple syrup. All these sweeteners are darker in color than cane sugar.
Raw Cashews: You can dip the raw cashews in medium-hot water for 10/20 minutes before blending. It easily dissolves in the milk.
Non-dairy milk: Cashew, oat, soy, coconut, and almond milk all work well with this recipe.

Tips

You can double the amount of raw cashews or sunflower seeds to add extra creaminess.
Try with other fruits like bananas, berries, or cherries.
Use store-bought, ready-made strawberry jam or syrup.

Storage Information

Fridge: Store the leftover vegan strawberry milk in the sealed glass jar or container and refrigerate it for 2/3 days. Shake it well before consuming.
