  8. Meanwhile, add onion powder, soy sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and liquid smoke to a small bowl.
  9. Stir all spices with a spoon.
  10. Once the tofu is cooked, lessen the burner flame to low heat.
  11. Next, cover the cube-sized tofu with the sauce.
  12. Stir throughout so the sauce mixes well with tofu.
