  • Cooking spray
  • Quarter cup chopped red onion
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Half tsp garlic powder

INGREDIENT NOTES:

PIZZA DOUGH:

  • It makes the crust and gives shape to the skull. You may use homemade vegan pizza dough as per your preference.

PIZZA SAUCE:

  • This sauce adds moisture and tomato taste to the filling. It works well with the pizza and gives better results. You may use crushed tomatoes mixed with Italian seasoning for a susbtitute.

VEGAN MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

  • It includes a creamy center to the pizza skulls. This mozzarella cheese melts nicely when we bake it in the oven. Include vegan cheddar-style cheese as an alternative.

PEPPERONI:

  • This ingredient includes classic pepperoni-pizza taste without using meat. You may use vegan sausage as another choice.

BLACK OLIVES:

  • They give a salty and rich taste to the meal. The black color of olives makes the pizza look fun for Halloween. Green olives are good to use as another idea.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. First, coat the mold with cooking spray and warm the oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly dust the surface and unroll the pizza dough, then cut it into pieces.
  3. Put one piece of the dough in the skull cavity and press it gently into the sides and bottom of the mold.
  4. Leave some dough on the edges and put 1 tbsp pizza sauce in the cavity.
  5. Include vegan mozzarella, chopped vegan pepperoni, black olives, green bell pepper, and red onion.
  6. Add a little more vegan mozzarella on top of the vegetables and pepperoni, then fold the extra dough over the filling.
  7. Gently press the edges to seal the skull and spray the tops lightly.
