INGREDIENTS:

  • Two medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)
  • 2 tbsp chopped spring onion

  • Salt 1 tsp

INGREDIENT NOTES:

POTATOES:

  • This is the main ingredient in the patties. They make the patties soft. Also, they provide creaminess. Potatoes combine the mixture with ease. For an alternative, use sweet potatoes. They will give you a sweet taste.

CARROTS:

  • Carrots are also the main ingredient. They give color to the patties. They also add moisture. We get a sweet taste from them as well. Carrots are nutritious. For an alternative, use zucchini (grated).

CHICKPEA FLOUR:

  • This flour keeps the patties together. It also maintains their shape. Chickpea flour has protein in it. Other options are all-purpose flour or oat flour.

SPICES & GARLIC POWDER:

  • They provide the patties with a warm taste. They also make the patties delicious. You don’t need lots of other ingredients when using them. Other options are fresh garlic and herbs (mixed).

OLIVE OIL:

  • We use olive oil to fry the vegan patties. Oil makes the patties crispy. It also provides a golden color to the patties. Another substitute option is avocado oil.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Except for olive oil, mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Create a dough with proper mixing.
  3. Make small patties from the dough.
  4. Then, add olive oil to the frying pan.
  5. Heat it above medium heat.
  6. Cook patties for 4 minutes in the frying pan.
  7. Keep frying till they are golden.
  8. Take them out of the pan.
  9. Cool them down.
