INGREDIENT NOTES:
VEGAN BUTTER:
- We use this ingredient to include a buttery taste and tender texture in the cookies. It makes the traditional butter cookies. You may use vegan baking sticks as per your preference.
BROWN SUGAR:
- It provides the main sweet taste in the cookies and gives moisture. Brown sugar provides a mild caramel taste and a soft center to the dessert. Utilize coconut sugar as a substitute.
ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR:
- This flour gives structure to the cookies and holds the shape of the dough well. You may use a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend for a gluten-free dessert.
BAKING SODA:
- It provides light texture and spreads the cookies well. Baking soda makes the edges light golden when we bake them. You may use baking powder as an alternative, but the texture will be changed.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First, cover the sheet with baking paper and warm the oven to 350°F.
- For three minutes, beat brown sugar & vegan butter in the large bowl.
- Make the mixture smooth, then mix the vegan milk and vanilla extract into it.
- Whisk the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.
- Then mix the dry and wet ingredients gradually to make a soft dough.
- Chill the dough for 15 minutes after covering, then mix the brown coating ingredients in a small bowl.
- Scoop the dough into 18 portions and roll them gently into a ball.
- Roll the balls into the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture, then place them on the sheet, leaving space between them.
