Vegan Miso Soup

Vegan Miso Soup

Ingredients:

  • Tofu 1/4 cup
  • Green onion chopped 1/2 cup
  • Miso paste 4 tbsp.
  • Dried seaweed 1/2 cup
  • Vegetable broth 4 cups
  • Sturdy chard chopped 1/2 cup

Instructions:

  1. Take a medium-sized saucepan and add the vegetable broth in the required quantity and then simmer it over low heat.
    Within that time, Take a small bowl and then add the miso paste to it.
    Add a tablespoon of hot water in it and then whisk until smooth.
    Whisk until no lumps are left in it.
    Add up the tofu, chard, and green onion, and then cook it for almost 5 minutes.
    Then add the dry seaweed to it and leave the saucepan on the side.
    Add the miso paste into it and then stir it to mix up properly.
    You can also add salt to maintain the taste if you desire.
Notes:
  • It makes two bowls.
  • Cut the veggies and the other ingredients perfectly in equal shape.
  • It is mandatory to whisk the miso paste by mixing hot water with it. It will make the paste smooth and light in texture.
