Ingredients Notes
All-purpose flour: I suggest you make the dough with this flour. Replace it with other available flour options depending on your diet plan.
Instant yeast: Ensure to use a new and sealed pack of instant yeast. Old packet yeast will not work to bake this dish.
Sugar: I used brown sugar. You can replace it with maple syrup, cane sugar, or normal granulated white sugar.
Water: Mix it in the baking soda.
Non-dairy milk and Maple syrup: These items replace the egg item. It gives a vibrant brown color and aids salt sticks with pretzels.
Flaky sea salt: We used this ingredient to add a crunchy flavor.
Cashew Fiesta Dip: I used Trader Joe’s brand dip. You are free to use any brand you like.
Cheese: Any vegan cheese will work with this sauce, like mozzarella or cheddar.
Nondairy milk: Add plant-based milk like cashew, almond, or hemp milk.
Cayenne Pepper: We used this to add a spicy flavor to the sauce.

Tips
Ensure the water we used to dissolve the yeast is not overboiled. Otherwise, the yeast will kill.
We used normal warm water to mix the yeast. The temperature of instant and dry yeast will vary.
The estimated temperature to mix the instant yeast will be 120-130 degrees, and the dry yeast will be 110 degrees.
Press the dough for 7–11 minutes until it gives a stretchable look.
A stand mixer is also a good option to knead the pretzel dough.
Drizzle the baking pan with olive oil to avoid sticking and burning.
Before baking, measure all the mentioned ingredients using a food scale or cups.
Reserve the dough in a warm place for one to two hours before making the pretzels.
