  • Vegan Butter 2tbsps
  • Food Color 1/4tsp

Ingredient Notes

Plant-Based Milk: Instead of almond milk, you can use hemp, soy, cashew, oat, or coconut milk.
Granulated Sugar: You can add maple syrup, brown sugar, or honey as a sweetener instead of granulated white sugar. But its taste and texture will be different. The choice is yours whether to include it or not.
Lemon Zest: We add a teaspoon of this ingredient to add a zest flavor.
Food Color: A pinch of freshly crushed turmeric is also the best option. It gives a vibrant yellow color.

Instructions

  1. Take a small nonstick pot. Add all ingredients, such as fresh lemon juice, granulated sugar, cornstarch, vegan butter, unsweetened almond milk, and food coloring, to this pot.
  2. Turn on the burner. Place this pot on the burner.
  3. Mix well ingredients with the help of a cooking spatula.
  4. Simmer it over medium-low heat for 5-10 minutes, or until a silky, creamy texture forms.
