Vegan Blue Lagoon Mocktail is a chilled, refreshing, and vibrant drink recipe. It looks as beautiful as it tastes. This drink is prepared with lemon-lime soda, vodka, and vegan-friendly Blue Curacao Syrup.  This beautiful Vegan Blue Lagoon Mocktail is sure to wow everyone. The delightful citrus flavor of this drink is enhanced by the sweetness of the coconut water and the fizz of the sparkling lemon and lemon-lime soda. It is a high-carb and high-sugar drink. The amount of sugar you consume will not affect your health. Let’s prepare this delicious drink.

EQUIPMENT

INGREDIENTS

  • Lemonade 4oz
  • Lemon Juice 0.5oz
  • Blue Curacao Syrup 1oz
  • Lemon-lime soda
  • Ice-cubes 4-5

COCKTAIL VERSION

  • Coconut Rum or Vegan Vodka of choice 1-1.5oz

FOR GARNISHING

  • Fresh Lemon Slices
  • Pineapple slices

INGREDIENT NOTES:

LEMON JUICE:

  • I used fresh lemon juice instead of bottled ones.

BLUE CURACAO SYRUP:

  • It is a Vegan-friendly syrup. You can consume it easily during your diet.

LEMON-LIME SODA:

  • I prepare this cocktail using low-sugar Zevia or Olipop soda. Substitute it with a simple 7up, Sprite, sparkling water, or club soda of your choice.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take a high-speed food blender.
  2. Mix lemonade, lemon juice, blue curacao syrup, two or three ice cube pieces, and coconut rum in this blender.
  3. Blend all items for 2/3 minutes until the ice cubes are thoroughly smashed.
  4. Next, pour this liquid mixture into glasses.
  5. Then, pour the lemon-lime soda over the liquid.
  6. Mix it using a spoon. Top it with ice cubes, lemon, and pineapple slices.

ADDITIONS:

Customize this mocktail with different vibrant ingredients.

Fresh Lemon:

You can decorate the edges of the glass with lemon slices, lemon wedges, or lemon wheel.

Maraschino Cherries:

  • You can add 2-3 cherries as a topping. It gives the mocktail a bright crimson hue.

Orange:

  • Switch the lemon with orange slices, orange wheel, or orange wedges.

Edible Flowers:

  • We can add different colorful edible flowers over the mocktail.

TIPS:

  • Use only Blue Curacao Syrup, not Liquor because liquor contains alcoholic components.
  • You can use butter flower pea powder, natural food coloring, or a simple blue color. All these food coloring
  • options give a beautiful blue color.
  • Cocktail umbrellas are an incredible approach to improving the appearance of this drink.
  • Use Vegan-friendly sparkling water.
  • Try this mocktail with distinct flavors such as grapefruit, lime, and orange.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

Advance Preparation:

  • Prepare the mocktail 3-4 hours before serving. Add each ingredient except ice and lemon-lime soda. We will add these items before serving.

Fridge:

  • Pour leftover beverages into plastic jars or containers and seal them tightly with their caps. Refrigerate it for one to two days.

Freezer:

  • You can’t freeze the leftover drink for 2/3 months in the freezer. This drink should ideally be consumed in a single day.
