Vegan Pecan-Baked Oatmeal

Tips for making this recipe:

You may instead use quick oats, but the baked oatmeal would have a different texture. Cutting the steaks to a thin size is not good. They take a lot longer to soak and cook.

Ingredients:

  • Cinnamon: 1/2 tsp.
  • Non-dairy milk: 2/3 cup.
  • Bananas: 2-3.
  • Sea salt: 1/2 tsp.
  • Baking powder: 1 tsp.
  • Pecans: 1/2 cup.
  • Fashioned rolled oats: 2 cups.

Instructions:

  1. Set the thermostat to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and coat an 8-by-8 pan with coconut oil or cooking spray.
  2. While the pan is complete, arrange the sliced banana coins in just one layer on the bottom. Put aside.
  3. Mix the water and ground flaxseed in a big mixing basin, then set aside to thicken for about five minutes.
  4. Whisk together the nondairy milk, vanilla, and maple syrup with the flax egg.
  5. Finally, include the dry ingredients, ranging from the chopped pecans to half of the rolled oats, and mix until completely blended.
  6. After adding the batter to the baking pan lined with bananas, level the top with a spoon.
  7. After sprinkling, carefully crush the remaining pecans into the oats.
  8. Broil for 35 to 40 moments, till the oatmeal sets.
  9. Slice into pieces and serve with fresh fruit, chopped pecans, and more maple syrup.

Notes:

  1. Freezing baked oatmeal is a great idea. Just wait for the baked oatmeal to cool fully before slicing it into portions.
  2. After putting each part in a freezer bag or container, you may freeze them.
  3. Simply open the oatmeal and reheat it in the microwave for a few minutes till it’s thoroughly warm, whenever you’re in the mood for baked oats.
